People no longer consume media in just one medium, which poses both huge challenges and opportunities for Britain's media workers to think about more than one platform when working with content.   This course will cover the new media mindset, writing for online, using social media effectively, monetizing content and IP and includes video interviews with key media professionals in Scotland, including STV and BBC Scotland.  Here is a selected list of people interviewed for the course:

Murray Cox has been an online journalist since 1998, and has since taught many journalists and media professionals about the development of the internet and the changing media landscape.  He has worked for BBC News Online and the Australian Associated Press, and has consulted on social media for Barclaycard and Channel 4.
