Edinburgh Napier graduate's film on BBC IPlayer
Exciting news that Edinburgh Napier BA Film graduate Elizabeth Penman had her graduation film Waves Crash selected by ‘BBC’s The Social’ to be put on BBC Iplayer in December 2017 for 12 months as part of a New Scottish Filmmakers strand. The film will also be screened at Cinequest film festival in California next month. She is currently working as the production runner on an upcoming BBC courtroom drama called The Victim.
Elizabeth Graduated in June 2017 from the Screen Academy Scotland, Edinburgh Napier BA Film programme with a 1st class degree and won the University Medal. Since graduating she went back to California, where she did her year abroad in 2016 to work on an indie film called American Muscle as well as some other freelance projects in the San Francisco Bay Area. She returned to the UK in October where she worked on a Sky Atlantic programme called Patrick Melrose as a location runner. She then went on to work as an AD floor runner on Netflix’s Outlaw King and on the TV show Outlander.
