Noor is a 20-year-old girl living in the conservative city of Gaza. One day she finds a wounded dog and without hesitation she takes it in. Her mother panics and asks her to get rid of it - he is not a pure animal. Despite this Noor insists on keeping the dog. Her mother finds it disgusting, but gradually she starts to accept his presence. When the dog falls ill, the family do all they can to treat him but there is no way to save a dog in Gaza. Noor loses her friend and can do nothing about it.
