Screen NETS, New Entrants Training Scotland

Building on a legacy of 30 years of the New Entrants Training Programme (NETS), Screen NETS is managed by Screen Academy Scotland, a Skillset Film & Media Academy, since summer 2011.
Screen NETS Advance provides up to 20 weeks of funded on-the-job training, relevant to that department. Trainees also receive short course or tailored training and/or mentoring from an industry practitioner. In 2012/13 Screen NETS Advance will support trainees in the following departments: Animation Production, Assistant Directing (AD), Editing, Production Accounts and Script Supervision.
Screen NETS Runner provides 1 weeks of funded on-the-job training, and is open to people who have attended Hit the Ground Running Courses between November 2012 and June 2013. We are currently recruiting for our first round of Screen NETS Runners.
