At MeCCSA 2025, we have a few events planned for you!

In the spirit of our conference theme, Identity and Belonging, our events aim to help conference participants to connect with each other, and to Edinburgh, highlighting the significance and impact of our conference theme.

We have tried to be as inclusive as possible. Many of the events are free. However, while we have worked to reduce the cost of participation, some events (such as the conference dinner) do incur an additional fee. Others (such as the Tour) are dependent on numbers.

PUB QUIZ – 4 Sept (8.30pm)

Thursday 4th September, 8.30pm. FREE to attend (drinks not included). Registration required. Details to follow.

DRINKS RECEPTION – 5 Sept (evening)

CONFERENCE DINNER – 5 Sept (evening)

The Conference Dinner is on Friday 5th September and costs an additional £49.

CEILIIDH – 5 Sept (evening)

Friday 5th September, after the Conference Dinner. FREE to attend (drinks not included). Details to follow.

TOUR – 6 Sept (optional) – £30

There will be a post-conference walking tour on Saturday 6th September which will cost an additional £30. This will be paid directly to the Tour company. If you would like to attend, please let us know and we will pass your name and details to the company. Please wait to hear back from them. Please note that we will be sharing your basic contact details with the tour company to enable them to contact you.

ONE-TO-ONE MEETING WITH PUBLISHER (includes tea/coffee)
