‘And Violet’, is a coming of age story about an adopted teenager, about her family relationships and open adoption. The film will be in production this summer and is the debut feature for writer and director Paul Gray (Screen Academy Graduate and Programme Leader for BA (Hons) Film at Edinburgh Napier University), who in association with the charity Scottish Adoption, were funded by a Scottish Funding Council Innovation Voucher to research and develop the story.
Other Screen Academy Graduates involved in the production are Alkistis Terzi, who is the director of photography and Gabriel Costa who is the producer, .
