Robin’s MFA Advanced Film Practice graduation film Hula won several awards including the BAFTA Scotland New Talent Award for Drama and the Celtic Media Festival Torc Award for Short Drama. Since graduating, Robin has directed Slingshot, a Scottish Film Talent Network commission starring Sharon Small, with the same team behind Hula. She has directed two episodes of River City through the BBC New Directors’ Scheme and a commercial for Freak Films. She has participated in the EIFF Talent Lab, the Cove Park Filmmaking Residency and the inaugural Young Film Foundation with her feature in development, Beyond the Silent Glen.

Robin’s films focus on human connectedness, examining our relationship with self, each other and the land.
