Congratulations to Screen Academy graduates Irune Gurtubai, Ben Sharrock, Gordon Napier and Christian Macdonald who’s films, cast or crew have been nominated for BAFTA New Talent awards! Patata Tortilla, Irune And Ben’s graduation film for the MFA Advanced Film Practice programme at Edinburgh Napier University was nominated for best Drama. Ben was also nominated for in the Writer category for his screenplay for Patata Tortilla.
Young actor Lewis Baxter was nominated in the Actor category for his work in Tide a film by Gordon Napier, current student on the MFA Film Directing course at Edinburgh College of Art. Chris Gayne was nominated in the Sound category for his work on Anna the graduation film of Christian Macdonald, graduate of the MFA Film Directing course at Edinburgh College of Art.
