Congratulations to Screen Academy Scotland (eca) graduate Martin Clark, for the British Academy Scotland Awards (BAFTA) nomination in the Short film category for Exchange & Mart. The film, which was co-directed by Cara Connolly is a dramatic comedy telling the story of a boarding-school girl coming of age in the most unlikely of circumstances – during a self-defence exercise. Earlier this year Exchange and Mart garnered a nomination at Sundance Film Festival for Short Film.

Also nominated for a British Academy Scotland Awards (BAFTA) nomination in the Short Film category was Colours written and directed by another Screen Academy graduate (Edinburgh Napier) Graham Fitzpatrick. The film was produced by Sarah Drummond. The story of Colours was drawn from the world behind bars and starred young offenders from a Scottish Prison. Colours has screened at Festivals worldwide.
