Congratulations to Basil Kahlil, a former student on the MA Screen Project Development whose film ‘A Gaza Weekend‘ has won the Fipresci Prize at Toronto International Film Festival. Basil has received success over the years after leaving Screen Academy Scotland. His recent short film ‘Ave Maria‘, was nominated for an Oscar.
