Screen Academy Scotland welcomes to Scotland, students and staff from Dartmouth College, New Hampshire USA who are in Edinburgh to take part in the 10 week Dartmouth Film Summer School at Screen Academy Scotland, Edinburgh Napier.
The ten students and their Professor Mary Flanagan arrive this week and will be in Scotland for ten weeks. The students will take a modules in Cinematography, Music Video and Media Festivals. Cinematographer Paul Gavin will be teaching the Cinematography module, the Music Video module will be taught by Beth Allen and Blair Young of The Forest of Black and the Media Festivals module is being taught by Professor Mary Flanagan. They will complete three music videos as part of their course.
The students will experience Edinburgh in full festival flow being here during the Edinburgh Film Festival, The Festival Fringe and the International Festival and will also have time to travel around Scotland to soak up culture in the Central Belt as well as the Highlands and Islands.
