We’re thrilled that Eva Riley, Edinburgh Napier and National Film and Television School graduate, has been named one of the Stars of Tomorrow by Screen Daily magazine. Stars of Tomorrow is a showcase of new actors, writers, directors and producers chosen by Screen International’s reviews editor and chief film critic Fionnuala Halligan. Candidates are generally under 30, professional and with a track record in the film business. The winners are chosen after a lengthy vetting process.

Eva did her undergraduate degree (BA Film and Photography) at Edinburgh Napier University before moving on to receive funding from the Creative Scotland-supported initiative DigiCult to make her debut short Sweetheart. She also received support from IDeasTap for her next short Joyride which led to a BAFTA Scotland New Talent nomination. After being accepted onto the Directing programme at NFTS, Eva’s graduate film Patriot was nominated for a short film Palme d’Or at Cannes in 2015.

Eva’s latest project, a feature called Perfect Ten, is in early development with low-budget film initiative iFeatures.

Congratulations and well done Eva!
