Great news that filmmaker Genevieve Bicknell (MFA Film Directing, Screen Academy Scotland ECA) will once again be screening a film at Edinburgh International Film Festival.This year her short In Place will screen as part of the SHORTS: UK-Spectrum strand on Friday 23rd June 18.00 in Cineworld 5.
A powerful documentary work, In Place features three individuals speaking about how personal interests have helped them to challenge their darker experience of mental health.
Genevieve previously had her film Swallow screened at EIFF 2013, as part of the Scottish Documentary Institute’s Bridging the Gap strand. In 2014 her film Sightlines screened at EIFF. Sightlines was also commissioned by Bridging the Gap.
