As part of Edinburgh Napier Employability week Screen Academy Scotland hosted a Masterclass about new ifeature The Levelling with writer/director Hope Dickson Leach and composer Hutch Demouilpied.
Hope and Hutch were on hand at the Screen Academy Production Centre on March 9th to discuss their work on the recent ifeature. A masterclass mainly for filmmakers and composers for screen, the two discussed in detail the how and when in the production process that music is conceived, scored and laid onto the film. They also looked at some of the more technical elements including use of guide track/dummy score.
The masterclass was followed by a special BAFTA screening of The Levelling at Cineworld Fountainpark.
