Great news that #Offline a 2 minute student project from this year’s MA Film students at Edinburgh Napier University has been nominated for Best Drama at Screen Test Film Festival 2017. Written by Tanja Oestergaard, produced by Darrel-Kirk Lambert and directed by Karolina Zebrowska #Offline explores the way social media steals our attention away from the present, even when we try to turn the devices off. During a horrible break up crisis, Gaby wants to be a sympathetic shoulder for her best friend to cry on but finds herself distracted by social media and all the potential updates surrounding her.
SCREENTEST is the UK’s national student film festival and was founded at Bristol University in 2004 and relocated to London in 2011 where for the past 5 years it has been based at London Southbank University.
