MacBeth: An Education is an illuminating look at how even classic works have had to change to modern demands. The documentary explores how one of the Bard’s darkest and richest works is being adapted to appeal to today’s young generation. The film is a mixture of interviews with the students as they explain the plot and themes of Macbeth and discussions with the teachers that are now turning to graphic novel adaptations to engage with their pupils.
The film was co-directed by Karel and Pollyanna. Karel also did sound and editing and Pollyanna was the cinematographer.
Congratulations both!
