Screen Academy Scotland MFA Advanced Film Practice student (and editing tutor on the MA Film) Karel Dolak is featured on the Avid website in the blogs section discussing his experience working as DIT and Editor on SAS alumni Ben Sharrock and Irune Gurtubai’s first feature film Pikadero, which recently premiered at the San Sebastian Film Festival. Pikadero grew out of the BAFTA Scotland award winning short film Patata Tortilla which tells the story of a young, penniless couple in the Basque region of Spain who, unable to fly the nest due to the economic crisis, have trouble consummating their fledgling relationship.
