My Name Was Jane is on the way to The Real Film Festival in Australia.Congratulations to Screen Academy Scotland graduate Karel Dolak (BA Film at Edinburgh Napier) who now works as a part time lecturer in Editing at Edinburgh Napier University, and current Screen Academy student Gordon Napier (MFA Film Directing at eca) who, together, collaborated on directing this short documentary. My Name Was Jane is about a woman’s struggle to find her biological parents and the decision when she finally has all the information required to take that next step.

The Real Film Festival (RFF) is a three-day festival that was created to foster and develop the art of story telling real events through film, comprising of industry development workshops, short films
competitions and a collection of short, independent and documentary films.

It is especially rewarding to reach an audience in what seems like such a far away land. The Screening takes place on the 9th November and forms part of the Short Film Programme.
