We are delighted to announce that Radio ENRG, the newly launched student radio station at Edinburgh Napier University, won gold at the Sony Student Radio Awards in London last night for Best Newcomer. George Ward, a journalism graduate from last year who worked incredibly hard to set up the station and run it, accepted the award. George was voted Most Inspiring Student in FECCI at the NSA awards in Spring 2014 and has just recently begun work for STV. He is a real success story and a great ambassador for Edinburgh Napier.
The award needs to be shared with Iain MacKay who has, and continues to offer Radio ENRG, so much support.
