We are delighted that three Screen Academy Scotland graduates will have their short film Rat King screened at Edinburgh International Film Festival as part of the Scottish Shorts strand on the 25th of June. Rat King one of 14 projects developed for the Scottish Shorts 2015 programme was one of seven short films commissioned through the Scottish Film Talent Network talent programme. Director Pavel Shepan, Screenwriter John Gibb and Producer Bianca Herold all completed MA degrees in their respective fields at Screen Academy Scotland, Edinburgh Napier. Their other previous work includes the mini series Judas Goat (www.judas-goat.com) which received a BAFTA New Talent award for Cinematography in 2015.
John Gibb, Screenwriter of Rat King was also selected to attend the EIFF Talent Lab a four day programme of professional development for up and coming filmmakers.
