Great news that Roger Griffiths (Screen Academy Scotland Edinburgh Napier, MA SW 2010) will be premiering his short film Take the Shot at Edinburgh International Film Festival. Take the Shot will have its UK premiere as part of the Fireworks Shorts strand on June 24th at Cineworld at 13.00. The film follows three brothers as they venture deep into the forest under the domination of their tyrannical father. He cajoles and bullies them, creating factions and manipulating power dynamics.
The Scottish Film Talent Network’s (SFTN) Scottish Shorts commissioned Rodger as Writer/Director on Take the Shot which was produced by Claire Mundell and Lee Brazier. Rodger also wrote the screenplay for the film.
