On Sept 29th Screen Academy Scotland’s Shian Holt was at SQUIFF (Scottish Queer International Film Festival) along with the Scottish Documentary Institute and Scottish Film Talent Network to take part in the panel event SQIFF: Film Funding and Training In Scotland. Also on hand were LGBTQ+ filmmakers including Screen Academy graduate Cecilia Perez Homar who were there to give tips and ideas and answer questions about where to start looking for training and funding as a filmmaker in Scotland.
